Sometimes it's a pod of finback whales or dolphins (sea puppies) playing in the bow wake.
Every trip is unique, beginning straight out of the dock. You may be so overwhelmed by the awesome beauty of the Sea of Cortez you'll possibly forget about the great margaritas or our fresh pot of coffee in the galley.
Have you ever seen the green flash?
Jules Verne's 1882 novel "Le Rayon Vert" (The Green Ray) popularized the green flash, described as:
"A green which no artist could ever obtain on his palette, a green of which neither the varied tints of vegetation nor the shades of the most limpid sea could ever produce the like! If there is a green in Paradise, it cannot be but of this shade, which most surely is the true green of Hope".
Over the years, we've seen six green flashes. We've decided one must be a great photographer to capture it's beauty.
